Roof Waterproofing
SRD INFRA understanding the requirement of roof waterproofing, has unique products from world class manufacturers which are suitable for roof waterproofing in Indian conditions.
Synthetic membrane is categorized into two parts PVC & TPO membranes. PVC waterproofing membrane is made up of high quality flexible (plasticized) polyvinylchloride. This material was first introduced in Europe in 1960's, and even today all round the globe, it is considered best for infrastructure projects with high life expectancy.
APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) bituminous membranes are manufactured by admixing and modifying premium grade bitumen with APP plastomeric compound. These membranes are reinforced with non-woven polyester felt or glass fibre felt which provides high tear strength and dimensional stability to the membrane.
SBS (Styrene Butadine Styrene) based self adhesive bituminous membranes are manufactured using SBS modified premium grade bitumen. Self adhesive membranes are non-reinforced with tri-laminated / cross-laminated / non-cross laminated / polypropylene mesh / aluminium foil / film, as top finish and easily removable silcon film on the underside.
Liquid-applied membrane (LAM) is a monolithic, fully-bonded, liquid-based coating suitable for many waterproofing and roofing applications. The coating cures to form a elastomeric barrier, which acts as a waterproof membrane and may be applied over different substrates, including asphalt, bitumen, metal and concrete. These coatings can be brush applied or spray applied.
